Members of the Spring Session of “Douglass St. Lab,” the intimate private writing laboratory I facilitate, invite you to an evening of discoveries at The Last Laugh Café in The Mission/Noe Valley.
"The Lab" which focuses on the prose experiment, is named after the street where the group meets. "Douglass Reads 2" will feature short shots from the works-in-progress of:
Steve Dershimer
Diane Glazman
Jennifer Hasegawa
Rick Richman
Anne Trickey
Mark Rubnitz
Brad Straw &
John Yi of Dublit
Please come by. The Last Laugh offers food, caffeine, beer and wine. The vibe will be more sunny than somber. We are people who take our work—but not ourselves—seriously.
